Let me "Care & Share"

Let me be drop of smile for few hearts,
Let me be ray of hope for some sweet hearts.


Let me be mom for someone who is abandoned for her gender,
Let me be father of someone who has always been in  wonder.


Let me be hand or leg of someone who was born lame,
Let me be source of food for someone whose hunger burn like flame.


Let me be teacher for one who has been deprived of education,
Let me be guide of one who has no station.


Let me be child for mother who has missed her child from ages,
Let me be son of father who has lived life like sages.


Let me treat everyone as my family,
and I don't treat my role towards them as obligation but as Duty...    


Let me give my little drop of my share, 
and Let me make my heart filled with simply care.

Soul Visit: Janani Ashish Orphage

On a Beautiful day called "Friendship day" had visited Janani Ashish Orphanage (Near Dombivali Gymkhana) .This visit was mainly to understand the Organisation. Seven of Soul mates were able to make it for visit. This is an orphanage and an adoption center. There are about 25 children with about 5 infants and others under an age group of 1 to 6 years. Coordinator were not present but we interacted with care taker's there and were able to get some idea about origination, But we will obtain more information from Coordinator and then plan out how we can serve them.

  

We also got opportunity to interact with little one's and It was great experience to met them. All started shaking hands to us and we were welcomed warmly by them. It was very refreshing to see there smiling face. Few of them also started singing prayers, national anthem and poems. We even played train train, Ringa Ringa and few other games, it was like revisiting our childhood again. Interaction was very short but truly amazing. It is rightly said if you want to see purity then see it heart of small kinds.

Let's all pray that their  smile stays forever. We can start off with the contribution collection now. Lets keep 16th  August 2011 as our cut off date for collection so that we have an idea of the amount collected and thereafter decide on how we can donate in kind (as we have to purchase the stuff before hand). Please SMS on 9930506852 for any coordination for cash collection or for Interbank transfer. Watch out this space for more information on how we are donating after we have detailed discussion this coming week with the coordinator. Thereafter we can also decide on the date of donation. Please revert for any clarification or suggestion.

Introduction to Soul

What is “Soul”?

Soul was born from an idea of one, the zeal of implementation by some,

Passionately worked by many and most importantly enthusiasm of ALL.

Soul has its birth in the feeling that friends who used to meet quite often are now somehow seldom seen thanks to busy schedules and commitments. The idea struck us that if there is a common cause that everyone would support, and then our meet will serve some purpose as well. It was this thought that brought together a few who named it "Soul" and soon it was communicated to friends ,who again passed it on to friends of friends and many such strings got attached  and created this wonderful Music of Soul.  

What does the “Soul” do?

Soul donates (Time, money or things) to the ones who need them. We try our best to identify such organizations who are less funded and thereby more needy. We prefer to donate at places which we come across through references. This is necessary for us to recognize their authenticity. Our first step is to pay a visit to the place, try to understand the organization and their motto. We then enquire about how best we can help them and accordingly collect funds and donate.

 “Soul” ….The road so far:

 We have undertaken four such projects and have been able to do a good job thanks to the spirit. The number of people who have joined hands has doubled and so has the help that we could extend. By connecting many more (Friends) dots we can paint a beautiful picture.
