Happy Birthday....Soul!

        

 

will be old soon......

It was on 25th September 2010 that we laid the foundation of our group "Soul" with our first donation towards the Orphanage called Vatsalya (Kanjurmarg). Since then.. there was no looking back and we have grown  both in number and strength.  

 

                                              

 

Now its time to celebrate our togetherness and power of being one "Soul". 

 

So  we will be celebrating Soul's Birthday at Ameya Palak Sangathana (a.k.a Gharkul, Khoni-Dombivli). Please be there to celebrate our Special day with our Special friends that we have made at Gharkul. This is a celebration of this passion that all of us have inside us ... that is ..to do our bit for our society.

Please confirm your presence expressly by replying on this email or by sending SMS/ Calling on below mentioned numbers before 18th September 2011, so that we can co-ordinate accordingly with organisation.

Please note that we are going there for celebration and little snacks and hence there is no Donation. Our contribution will be in the next quarter as our usual practice.

Soul Visit: Janani Ashish Orphage

On a Beautiful day called "Friendship day" had visited Janani Ashish Orphanage (Near Dombivali Gymkhana) .This visit was mainly to understand the Organisation. Seven of Soul mates were able to make it for visit. This is an orphanage and an adoption center. There are about 25 children with about 5 infants and others under an age group of 1 to 6 years. Coordinator were not present but we interacted with care taker's there and were able to get some idea about origination, But we will obtain more information from Coordinator and then plan out how we can serve them.

  

We also got opportunity to interact with little one's and It was great experience to met them. All started shaking hands to us and we were welcomed warmly by them. It was very refreshing to see there smiling face. Few of them also started singing prayers, national anthem and poems. We even played train train, Ringa Ringa and few other games, it was like revisiting our childhood again. Interaction was very short but truly amazing. It is rightly said if you want to see purity then see it heart of small kinds.

Let's all pray that their  smile stays forever. We can start off with the contribution collection now. Lets keep 16th  August 2011 as our cut off date for collection so that we have an idea of the amount collected and thereafter decide on how we can donate in kind (as we have to purchase the stuff before hand). Please SMS on 9930506852 for any coordination for cash collection or for Interbank transfer. Watch out this space for more information on how we are donating after we have detailed discussion this coming week with the coordinator. Thereafter we can also decide on the date of donation. Please revert for any clarification or suggestion.
